Inspiration: Funky and modern, this geometric lace is an openwork pattern with a hip feel. Patches of garter stitch combined with simple diagonal eyelets create a pattern that waves slightly, but doesn’t curl much.

Tip: There are purl stitches and knit stitches worked on the wrong side rows, which makes for a combination of garter stitch and stockinette.

Row 5: K2, ssk, k1, yo, k6, yo, k1, k2tog, k2.

Row 7: K2, ssk, yo, k8, yo, k2tog, k2.

Row 9: K1, yo, k3, k2tog, k4, ssk, k3, yo, k1.
